New French party attempts to represent suburbs

The party joins the election race late, and its members are running as candidates from other smaller parties.
This is after all a trial run.
But there is more homework to be done.

Abstention rates in French suburbs have been lower than the national average for decades.

These buildings around me are situated in the suburb of Nanterre, one of the biggest suburbs around the French capital, Paris. People living here have a general feeling that politicians from the bigger political parties and even in the smaller ones, are completely disconnected from their daily concerns like racism, education and unemployment.

Party leaders say, they don’t expect any victories in the Parliamentary elections.
But in two years, its members are hopeful ; they will win the very crucial municipal elections.
